Classroom Assistants
Undergraduate Classroom Assistants and Undergraduate Marker Assistants
Considering the potential peer and social conflicts (or conflict of Interest) that can arise when other undergraduate students can influence or be influenced by these types of interactions:
Undergraduate Classroom Assistants are expected to offer assistance with other students' learning objectives. They may not grade students' work, as they have a student-facing role. They may take attendance and record the completion of class tasks if properly supervised and supported by the course instructor.
Undergraduate Marker Assistants must not have any type of student-facing role. They are not to identify themselves to other students.
Undergraduate students (including co-terminal students) are not eligible to be Teaching Assistants (TAs).
