Located on the upper level of Galvin Library, the Communications Lab supports Illinois Tech students by offering peer tutoring beyond traditional writing assistance to include a full range of communicative modes and partnerships across the university. Through individualized tutoring sessions and group workshops, the Comms Lab supports students as they develop into confident, effective communicators across written, visual, oral, and digital formats. Appointments can be scheduled for free 50-minute tutoring sessions with in-person and virtual options for all Illinois Tech students. Our tutors have expertise in:
