Fraternity and Sorority Life

The Fraternity/Sorority Life community at Illinois Tech is focused on providing students with opportunities to excel both inside and outside of the classroom. The university's nine fraternities and two sororities uphold their own missions through brotherhood and sisterhood activities. These groups also concentrate heavily on the values of their organizations by participating in regular philanthropic and community service events. Each fraternity and sorority has its own operating structure and allows students to develop valuable leadership and interpersonal skills. Academics and scholarship are an integral part of Fraternity/Sorority Life, and the community works hard to uphold rigorous standards as a part of their daily functioning. Membership is open to both residential and commuter students.
