Certificate in Nonprofit and Mission-Driven Management

The Certificate in Nonprofit and Mission-Driven Management is tailored for professionals who want to become managers and leaders of nonprofit and other mission-driven enterprises. Students can customize their course of study, choosing courses addressing effective financial and systems management, social entrepreneurship, community and regional planning and policy-making, and economic development.

Certificate programs are offered in several disciplines taught at the Stuart School of Business. These programs provide students with post-baccalaureate knowledge of an area of specialization within the respective discipline. Students in these programs register as certificate students. Certificate programs require a set of three to four courses. Students admitted to a master’s degree program may apply some coursework previously taken in a certificate program toward master’s degree requirements. This certificate is designed for professionals who want to increase their knowledge and skills in nonprofit and mission-driven management but do not have the time to pursue a Master of Public Administration degree.
