Certificate in Financial Toolbox

The Financial Toolbox certificate covers primary mathematical methods from financial economics and modeling, statistical and econometric techniques to analyze financial markets, financial modeling using spreadsheets, and programming with Microsoft Excel and VBA.

Certificate programs are offered in several disciplines taught at the Stuart School of Business. These programs provide students with post-baccalaureate knowledge of an area of specialization within the respective discipline. Students in these programs register as certificate students. Certificate programs require a set of three to four courses. Students admitted to a master’s degree program may apply some coursework previously taken in a certificate program toward master’s degree requirements. This certificate is designed for professionals seeking to increase their knowledge and skills in a particular area and earn stackable credentials toward a degree program.
