Certificate in Sustainable Enterprise

The Certificate in Sustainable Enterprise focuses on the theory and practice of environmental and social sustainability in the business environment, including the intersection of sustainability and innovation in managing a business, strategies and tools of the emerging field of industrial ecology, and an introduction to the rapidly growing field of social entrepreneurship.

Several certificate programs are offered at the Stuart School of Business. These programs provide students with a post-baccalaureate knowledge of an area of specialization. Students in these programs register as certificate students. Certificate programs require a set of three or four courses. Students who are admitted to a master’s degree program may apply coursework previously taken in a certificate program toward the requirements for the master’s degree.
