Doctor of Philosophy in Finance
The Ph.D. in Finance program offers comprehensive coverage of applied statistics, business finance, financial economics, and quantitative finance applied to academic and applied problems in corporate finance, investing, and risk management. The program prepares students to employ tools from these areas to any business problem. The program is research-oriented and prepares graduates capable of initiating advanced research to solve problems in corporate finance, investments, regulatory issues in risk and market functions, and academic roles in finance. Graduates move into successful roles as quantitative research analysts at major investment firms, risk managers for world-class financial institutions, and faculty positions at Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accredited institutions.
